‘Every character I play has to be the hero of his own story, the way we’re all heroes of our own lives.’ —Jesse Eisenberg.

Happy Birthday, Jess!

I’m not on any social networking websites myself because, you know, I do interviews like this one and I go to therapy so many times a week, so I don’t have any interest in talking about myself anymore than I do in those platforms.

Jesse Eisenberg – He did a really good job.  I was impressed by his level of commitment and energy.  He didn’t seem to look at the cue cards at all and elevated every character he played.  I really hope he’ll be on again in the future because he’s a great utility player, seeming like he would fit in as a regular cast member.I think the writing stranded him in some poor skits, but he was sharp throughout.  9/10 (x)

Jesse Eisenberg pulled off his hosting gig on SNL quite admirably.  The actor is known for dry delivery in most of his movies. He’s one of my favorite actors, and he has starred in The Social Network (he also got an Oscar nomination for that role), Adventureland, The Squid and the Whale, Zombieland, and Roger Dodger. He’s a bit more understated than many of SNL’s hosts, so I was pretty pleased with a solid show. (x)

I know everyday after high school I would come home and watch Family Feud by myself and eat a lunchable…
